If you are buying as a consumer, you have rights under the Civil Code (Act No. 89/2012 Coll.) and the Consumer Protection Act (Act No. 634/1992 Coll.). Nothing in these terms limits these statutory rights.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are stated in Czech crowns (CZK). The price shown on the website at the moment the order is sent applies.
Online payments are processed by the GoPay payment gateway. You pay directly on the payment gateway's page; your payment card details are not passed to us. The available payment methods are shown on the payment gateway's page.
Workshops are paid on site for now; nothing is paid online for them.
3. Workshops
You book a workshop for a specific date through the form on the website. We confirm the booking by email; the confirmation includes your booking number (e.g. No. 404), a summary of the date and a link to the booking page.
Payment: nothing is paid online. You pay the full price of the workshop (CZK 2,000 per person) on site on the day.
Under the law
Under the Civil Code (§ 1837), the general right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days does not apply to services related to leisure activities that are provided on a specified date. A workshop on a specific date is one of them.
Our cancellation policy
- You can cancel your booking no later than 24 hours before the start of the workshop, using the link in the confirmation email, by email at olenavakij@seznam.cz or by phone at +420 775 529 929.
- If you cancel later than 24 hours before the start or do not show up, the booking lapses without compensation. If you repeatedly fail to show up, we reserve the right to decline further bookings.
4. Bouquets
You collect bouquets ordered online in person at one of our locations:
- Nusle – Nuselská 66, Praha 4 – Nusle, 140 00
- Albertov – Na Slupi 1, Praha 2 – Vyšehrad, 128 00
You choose the pickup date and time from the options the website offers when you order. Available times vary by location and workload, so pickup on the day of the order or on the following day cannot be guaranteed.
Under the law
Withdrawal from the contract: cut flowers are goods that deteriorate rapidly. Under the Civil Code (§ 1837), you cannot withdraw from a distance contract for such goods within 14 days without giving a reason.
Defective goods: this exception does not affect your rights arising from defective performance. If a bouquet does not match your order or is defective, you have the right to make a complaint (see Complaints). We recommend checking the bouquet when you collect it.
5. Gift vouchers
Florista Café gift vouchers have no expiry date.
Under the law
If you buy a voucher online as a consumer, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of its conclusion without giving a reason (see Withdrawal from the contract).
6. Withdrawal from the contract
Where the law gives you the right to withdraw from a distance contract, you may do so within 14 days without giving a reason. Simply send us a clear statement by email to olenavakij@seznam.cz.
We will refund your money within 14 days of the withdrawal, using the same method you paid with, unless we agree otherwise.
7. Complaints
If you have an issue with the goods or service you ordered, write to us at olenavakij@seznam.cz. Please state what the complaint concerns, what is wrong and how you would like it to be resolved. A photo helps us, but is not required.
Rights arising from defective performance are governed by the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act. We will handle your complaint within the statutory period, no later than 30 days from when it is made, and will inform you of the outcome.
8. Out-of-court dispute resolution
If we cannot resolve a dispute by agreement, you as a consumer may file a proposal for out-of-court dispute resolution with the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) under the Consumer Protection Act. More information is available at coi.gov.cz (opens in a new window).
9. Final provisions
Contractual relationships are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. Contracts are concluded in Czech.
